Phawana Garden is a hotel which is situated at a farming village in Lamphun
province, Thailand.
Please visit our village and enjoy country atmosphere of Northern Thai.
Our village is well known by Wood carving manufacturing and Lamyai (Longan) farm.
Four cottages and one Family cottage are in 7rai(approximately 11,200sqm) garden.

Any pets are not allowed to enter Phawana Garden.
Transportation：We pick you up from Chiangmai city.Fee 500Baht per way up to 2persons. 3rd person will be charged 150Baht.

○ Taka village
Taka village is a craftmen village for wood carving.
The sound of a hammer and chisel come from many houses.
By walk , or by bicycle, enjoy taking a stroll.
We hope you will find joy of country life.
・Wood Carving Atlier
Visit craftman who is working alone, or atlier with many craftmen.
You can purchase wood carving, if you find one you like to bring home.
・Morning Market
Local morning market. They are selling fresh vegetable, fruits, meats.
・Lamyai Farm
This is a valley with full of Lamyai trees.
○ Around Taka Village
・Mount Tribe Village(5minutes by car)
Karen people's village. We can walk through the village. Original hand
wooven clothes are sold.
○ Lamphun city （25minutes by car）
The egg shaped ancient city is surrounded by moats. Old castle wall is
still exist.
・Wat Phrathat Haripunchai
A temple from Haripunchai Dynasty which exist at present Lamphun city during 7 to 13 Century
The temple is built AD 1108 by a king on that period. It is one of eight
royal temple of Thailand
・Haripunchai National Museum
Buddhism statues, works of art through Haripunchai or Lanna period are
exhibited.(Mon and Tue closed)
・Statue of Queen Chammathevi
Queen Chammathevi who was the first ruler of Haripunchai Dynasty is enshrined.
・Wat Chammathevi
Queen Chammathevi had built this temple after her abdication. India-Gaya style with 60 Buddha statue on its surface.
・KoChang KoMaa
In this mound Queen Chammathevi's beloved elephants and horses are enshrined.
・Chat Chuck Market
The Lamphun's biggest local market.Vegetables, fish, meats, clothes and
general goods are sold. Very energetic.
○ Pasan (15minutes by car)
・Wat Pra Buddha Baat Taak Pa
There is a regend that Buddha dried his yellow cloth here It is located above 450 steps of stairs, also car can climed there.
The view from the top is splendid. The Moovie"Rambo 3" was filmed
here.
・Hand wooven cotton village
A pair of weaver is weaving cotton clothes. Big item like a carpet, and
small items are sold here. Also original color and design of yourself can
be ordered.
○ Lampang
・National Elephant Conservation Centre / Elephant's Hospital(30minutes by car)
Elephants are living in huge area. Bathing(08:45 & 13:15), elephant
show(10:00, 11:00 13:30), and elephant ride. Dung paper factory. Many design
of original T-shirt.
・Herb Conservation Assembly（45minutes by car）
Private herb sauna and bath, herb facial / body massage, etc. Fee is very
reasonable(private sauna:100baht/hour), massage 100baht/hour.
○Golf Course
・Gassan Khuntan Golf & Resort
18 holes course. 30minutes from Phawana Garden by car. Special green fee
is applicable for Phawana Garden's guest.
Golden Mountain Golf Course
・18 holes course. 5minutes from Phawana Garden. Green fee 300baht.
